Annual Meeting
15 members representing 12 clubs
Clubs not represented: F L Chapter Trout, F L Sports-O-Rama, Lodi, North Seneca, and Seneca Schuyler Wildlife.

EC Officer Deiter Kraemer DEC.
President John Sipos opened the meeting with the pledge allegiance to the flag at 7:30 pm.
Secretary Reports:
Corrections: Minutes should be printed on 8 ½ x 11 when going out as an e-mail document. Not all the minutes could be downloaded when printed.
Motion made to accept. Motion carried.
Treasurer’s Report:
John Andrews gave a detailed report on money on hand. Reported that the checking account is low on money. John will transfer money from the savings account to the checking account.
Motion made to accept. Motion carried.
Correspondences:
Received Map from DEC on them wanting to expand the Wet Lands on Depot.
John Andrews received letter from NYSCC that our dues are to be paid for membership to the Council. Motion made to pay dues. Motion carried.
DEC Officer Dieter Kraemer gave the Federation a letter from their office. DEC proposes adding protected Wetlands in Seneca County. Letter states the DEC is proposed to add 26 wetland areas in towns of Romulus and Varick. Thanks Dieter.
John Sipos has received a letter from Len Leisman that C. Scott Sampson has been nominated of the Sportsmen’s of the Year Award.
Committee Reports:
Banquet Committee:
Discussion on where to hold meeting this year. Motion made to have banquet at South Seneca. Hand vote: 7 for; 4 opposed; 4 abstained. Motion carried that the Annual Banquet will be at South Seneca. Motion made to check out food prices. Barb will contact South Seneca to get a price.
Enrichment Committee:
Tom Mitchell Jr., talked about the Sessler Business Proposal and hunting on depot. Discussion about hunting proposal outlined in the proposal. Many points of view talked about.
Old Business:
NYS Conservation Council:
Gary Chave reported that for the first time in many years the NYSCC has a balance budget. There will be a Legislative meeting in Albany. It will require Gary Chave and Barb Wells to spend the night. Motion made to pay for the hotel rooms. Motion carried.
Gary Chave spoke about the January meeting for the NYSCC. When the 2007 Resolutions were done at the Legislative Meeting in September the 2nd Resolutions that was Delaware County for Antler Restriction was voted a tie at the meeting and moved to be tabled was discussed at the meeting in Ilion. This resolution must be sent back to every Federation and be revoted on. All clubs will receive the resolution and check list. Check list to be returned by mail to Gary Chave.

Election of Officers to the Board:
Committee member Bill Dadson read the office openings and the committee recommendations.

Meeting was turned over to New President: Tom Mitchell, Jr. Motion made to adjourn. Motion carried.

UPCOMING EVENTS:
Waterloo Rifle and Pistol conducting a Silhouette Shoot. Stared on December 16, 2007 and will continue on every third Sunday after that. Jan. 20th, Feb. 17th, March 16th, and April 20th.

Next meeting will be on February 19th at Kuneytown Sportsmen’s Club on 3735 Hoster Road Seneca Falls.

From the South: Take Rt. 414 to Yellow Tavern Road and turn Right. Hoster Road is on your left.
From the East: Take Rt: 89 to Canoga. Turn on to Yellow Tavern Road and Hoster Road will be on your Left.
From the North: Take Rt. 414 to Yellow Tavern Road, turn Left and Hoster Road will be on your Right. From the West: You can come from Yellow Tavern Road and cross Rt. 414 and keep going straight until you find Hoster Road or you can come from Rt. 336 and then go north on Rt. 414.
